Putting together an article on this Continental I had the pleasure of shooting a little while ago. Y/N?

Yes!

Absolutely. That looks like maybe a '62. I love the earlier ones with the round grill and headlights.

'62 grille is about the only noticeable difference. No vertical dividers in it. (Sorry, I owned a '65) This is pic of '62.

Thanks for the info, I couldn't remember when they changed the grill, but I knew it was the original design. Most people seem to like the redesigned one with the squared out grill. I like the earlier ones though. The rest of the car is so straight and squared out that I think the rounded grill breaks it up a bit better.

This is what I get to drive for the next 5 days in Ohio. 4.6L and fricking flies.

Those are cool. My dad had a '97 LSC version. That thing could move. Looked like a spaceship inside too.

Yeah, not exact on the year on this one. (not the one pictured). It's been a while since I was there. But last time I was there, I drove it and I went "holy shit, this barge has got power". Looking forward to it.

What is it like to live with one of these?

Please do.

When I had it, a long time ago, and gas was cheap, it wasn't bad. Had a 500 CI engine and probably got 7-10 mpg. But talk about a luxurious boat. They didn't come any better.

Cool. I've always had an interest in them. I tend to small and sporty, but there is always a bit of a desire to try out a big girl :). I'm sure there are people out there who have done swaps for more modern fuel efficient motors that put out as much power.
